I have an extra 10 gallon tank that my girlfriend wants to turn into a nano reef for herself. She would like to keep a fish or two, and some basic corals. Not looking to have clams anemones or anything.
I was thinking 50w heater
aquaclear 50 or 70, any thoughts?
maxi jet 900 (230gph)
1.5-2" live sand
10-20lbs live rock
my only concern is lighting. its a standard 10 gallon tank. 20Lx10Wx12H
I was wondering if the 20" coralife single strip @18w be enough.
OR
should i go to the 20" coralife double strip @96w would be much better.
What about the T5? would that be a better way all together?
I am not sure how many watts the smaller ones were, but the 24" says 14w.
anything else i am missing?
