starting a 100 gal

I have an empty 100 gal sitting in my living room and not a whole lot of money to spend on it[hence, a reef being out of the question] So, I am looking for one or two unusual fish that won't out grow 100 gals. Any suggestions?

blue-line or miniatus grouper and a trigger of some sort (humu, blue jaw, etc). an h.tusk would be cool too. bo

I just started a 100 gal also. Here is what I added. Huma Trigger, Dog Faced Puffer, Coral Trout Grouper, and Snowflake Eel. Now this will be too much when they reach full size and I am currently looking for a larger tank. Just remove the grouper and you have a good looking tank with color and movement. The Huma trigger is pretty active and will eat anything. Right now, the dog is a yellow bellied and is pretty active when he sees me coming....Wants food. And eels aren't that active, but do add to the tank and are great to watch when they do come out for a swim.

There are alot of fish you can add!!!
Based on your limited money supply however, you I'm guessing won't want to blow a grand or so on equipment for the tank, and thats fine--just pick some of the hardier species like triggers and keep your load very, very low. In my opinion you can have a great tank even on a limited budget. (although I know alot of people will disagree)If you just accept that your capabilities and choices are limited as well. Me, I'd put a great big fat trigger and a great big fat naso tang and call it good. Very hardy, very entertaining, and colorful too. No need for the top notch stuff or all the hassle, headaches, and dissapointments that come with keeping the
more delicate stuff.
Good Luck
