Starting a coral tank

I was thinking of doing corals. i currently have a 125 gallon fish only tank with minimal lighting and a 30 gallon sump. i was thinking of starting corals in it but found out quickly that i cant afford a lighting fixture for it as it is 72" long so i was told the next best thing to do would be get a 40 or 50 gallon breeder tank and slowly get it setup and use the water change water from my 125 to get it started up and slowly get one coral at a time. i was wondering what everyones opinion on this is and what u recomend for fish in the coral tank and also which coral

i would just try to save up a bit more and wait a few months to invest in a good light fixture for the 120. u will be more happy later. 55 is not that big.
