Starting a tank.

Hey everybody, I just started today on this forum. I have been looking for some time now to get a SW tank, I would like to do a reef system but i'm unsure where to start. I saw the "Nano Cube" but I have heard that it isn't that great of a system. If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks.

Two that I've read and in the order I read them...
1. The New Marine Aquarium: Step-By-Step Setup & Stocking Guide
2. The Conscientious Marine Aquarist: A Commonsense Handbook for Successful Saltwater Hobbyists
Just about everything you're going to need to know to start is in there...
the hardest part is the time it will take to do this right. Its not like the days of FW tanks and throwing some Zebra Danios and Neon Tetras in and calling it good...
so be prepared... But it is really worth it!
