starting my reef 90g build

Just like to start by saying hi all new at this i started a 29g bio cube bout yr ago and now i just bough a 90g set up on e-b so been on here reading all i can learning as i go ya all help me alot with my cube to start i got one question all the threads i been reading an the pic show tanks with painted backs an sides to but have not seen one tank that you could see from three sides is this not a good ideal cus i have an island between two rooms in my house that i have a f w t 55gal on and want to put the 90g there is this good ideal or no ??? help please will send pic soon to show ya thanks an i realy like the thread gill again 68 !!!!!!!!!!

If the tank is glass, it should be real easy to remove the paint. Good luck if it's acrylic!

You can do that easily with a center overflow, or one on the side you don't want visible. The reason people pain them black is so you cannot see cords, or filtration behind the aquarium. Your reef in that aquarium would be centered in the middle, so you would have to pay particular attention to stability, since you won't have the back glass to help. GL

thanks all !!!!!! my over flow is in corner and i'am going to drill an pin my live rock and use putty to hold rockscape togather does that sound like a good ideal ?????????????????????? help
