Starting New 55g

I'm thinking of starting a 55g with the following inhabitants:

Snowflake Eel
Dwarf Lion
Maroon Clown
Coral Beauty Angel
Longnose Hawk
Wartskin Frogfish
Valentini Puffer

Thoughts on compatibility, care, or other aspects of this project?

that is a lot of messy fish for a small tank. The frog fish would do better in a tank by himself. Other than that keep in mind the lion can eat anything that will fit in its mouth and lions have big mouths.

I agree w above. You have 3 of the same fish i house in my "aggressive " tank tho. I have a dwarf lion, maroon and valentine puffer. I also have a yellow tail damsel with them. A 55 just isn't big enough tho for all your fish.

I would reconsider those fish. I would stick with clowns, a few blennies, pigmy angelfish.

I also recommend you start the tank with macro algae to balance out and stabilize the system. On my old 55g, I crammed in egg crate 3" in from of the back to partition the tank with a front livestock and back macro area. And added a couple of two tube 4' utility fixtures behind pointing forward.
