Starting new 90g tank, type of filter??

Ok, so I have a 55g sw reef tank, but we are starting up a new 90g, which will be a fish only tank. I know the best filter is lr and ls, but we are going with mostly ls/some live rock (about 30 lbs). Here is what I have been racking my brain about... I would love to have a sump, but my tank isnt drilled, and cycle is almost done. I have looked at alot of sites, and I cannot understand how to make my own sump (two reasons, I cant find a list of items needed to make a sump, the breakdown of the components themselves, and my limited space under the tank). If someone could just list down the parts I need for a non-drilled tank, I can DIY. Probably I will need to use two seperate tanks because of the lack of space under my tank. thanks everyone, and happy turkey day!
