Starting new tank- help with fish choices

I am starting my first marine tank- a 65 gallon, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on fish compatability. I'm mainly interested in triggerfish, but have pretty much been told (on the aggressive board) that I could only have one in a tank this size. So, I figured I'd mention a few other possible species (to keep with a single humu trigger) on this board to see if anyone might have an opinion.
Tusk
Lion
porky puffer
large tang
damsels (to cycle tank)
Any advice on combinations of these, order they should be put in, etc ?

a trigger wold be ok they love hiding places though. I would say no to a porky puff but a dogface would be good. porky's need swimming room as do sharks. get a manderin or two.

First off welcome to the board. I know you have been told this before a trigger in a tank that size will limit the other fish you can keep. The puffer will not work, not a porky or dogface both grow large and will out grow your tank. the tusk and the trigger might work, and maybe a dwarf lion. not tang with the other fish you mention would cause all kind of problems down the road. a snowflake would also work. Good Luck

Just about like everyone else I'd suggest a dwarf lion or maybe a harlequin tusk with some kind of eel since they hardly put any bio-load on a tank. You may be able to squeeze a toby puffer in with the tusk. maybe.
