Starting over again - Flitration Help

Hey guys I'm looking into getting a reef tank going again. I got rid my 50 when I moved a year ago and I am in the middle of pricing stuff out for a 75 gallon with VHO lighting since my lighting setup is pretty much the only thing I kept from my 50.
I never had a skimmer on my 50 so I'm looking to go that route this time. I will probably still use a hang on filter too just for water flow reasons. I will also be using a hang on skimmer. I just saw a JEBO Protein Skimmer 180 w/Power Head Hang on
on the bay for like 50 bucks or so shipped. It says its good enough for a 150. I'm just trying to find out if this is any good.

Actually after reading up online I have pretty much talked myself out of the Jebo. I'm looking around for a good deal on a octopus now. Seems like they are a lot better and since this is my first skimmer I don't feel like dealing with moding it.

Ok now I'm looking at power heads. I want to cycle my tank 30 times an hour right? so for a 75 gallon I'm looking at about 2250 gph.
2 Maxi Jet 1200's put me at 590 gph. This is way short. Should I have 3 power heads in there? I can't seem to find anything from Maxi Jet above a 1200. Any help would be appreciated.

i prefer koralia's over maxi jet... but if you dig on maxi jets you should check out the mods for them. just google "sure flow maxi jet mod" or "eco mod maxi jet"

I actually messed up earlier the tank will be a 70 tall since I need it to fit my 36 by 18 canopy. Not sure if that makes much of a difference flow wise.
