Starting over

Well i have had my tank set up for over 6 months. I had a Sebae Clown, Midas Blenny, Blue Damsel,Lemonpeel angel and a condy anenome. Well my heater in my tank went out of whack some how and heated my water all the way up to 100 degrees and lost everything in my tank except the blue damsel. But this happend about a month ago and all my parameter's were still good. So i added a very small maroon clown and a small sunburst anthias. So what im wondering is what do you think i can add to really pop out. Its a 30 gallon tank and i would like to add some color.

This is a fairly common thing. It happened to me years ago and I now always use two small heaters; small enough that one can't overheat the tank very quickly. This may be tough with a small tank; but I think 2 -50 watt heaters would make you safer; even a couple 25 watt heaters should work. Most tanks have enough heat producing stuff (skimmers, filters, lights, anything with a motor, etc) that overheating is much more of a problem than under-heating.

Yeah i got a new heater now. And it keeps the water right at 72 degrees and i dont know if that is to cold but the fish seem to not mind.

I think you'll notice that most of your fish are more active & eat better at a warmer temp. 72 is unnaturally cool for most fish.
