I have three damsels in a 29 gal tank. Every time i try to bring new fish in the tank they chase the new fish until they die. I really like this new fish but want can i do to keep him alive in a community of damsels. The fish are roughly the same size and there are plenty of hiding places in live rock. Is this normal? What can I do to help new fish adapt as well? Thanks!:help:

If you really like your damsels, then you can probably only keep other damsels in there. They are highly agressive and will more than likely exhast to death any other fish you try to add. If you want to add different fish, you are gonna have to get rid of the damsels. Basically, its one or the other.

maybe try to remove your damsels for a bit, rearrange your rock then add your new fish at the same time as your damsels, Damsels as you know are territorial!
