As much as I would like to agree with you Who Dey I can't. I do not think the hit was intended to put Palmer on the bench. The player was visibly upset when he hit him and saw that he had injured Palmer. Just one of those things that happen.
Several Bengals yelled at von Oelhoffen, who spent his first six seasons in Cincinnati and still counts some of the Bengals as friends.
