I have tried forumla 1 and 2 and last night tried silversides (something like that) and the little guy refused to eat it.
he is a purple anename, and even though he has not eaten in 3 weeks, he still likes to stregth out on the sand.
but his tenticles are smaller then when I first bought him 3 weeks ago and some of them are kinda shrivled up?
any suggestions?

light is not be a problem, although i am always moving back into the light as he goes underneath rocks. I will try squid and the other thing mentioned also. How long can they live without food?

well, that is what he must be surviving on, bc I am putting in phyto plankton for my corals. how long can the anename live off of plankton?

a couple of the other things i feed my anemone is scallops or shrimp.. make sure that what you feed him is small portions. when i feed my anemone i just put it close enough for his tentacles to grab a hold of it and he does the rest. when you touch the anemone are the tentacles sticky ? if they are that is a good sign.. also from my experience anemones do not like to be messed with, moving it around could be one of the reasons it is still deflated some. you might want to leave it where it is for 3 or 4 days and dont try to feed it just let it be and see if it moves to a place it likes that is in the light. that is just the experience that i have had with anemones. i hope this helped some..:)

his tenticles are very sticky and do you feed him cooked or uncooked shrimp?
he moves in the light, but it is in the back of the tank behind the rocks- but at the moment, he is in the front of the tank

i feed raw shrimp.. i think if you give the anemone a couple of days it will find a spot it likes and settle down, hopefully.. good luck
