still cloudy

its been probably 15 hours since i started my tank. and my tank is just as cloudy now as it was when i started. and i know its the salt thats causing it. i jsut dont know what to do to make it go away, i do not have a powerhead which i will buy today. my salinity is fine right now its just cloudy and its bothering me because i dont know if ill have to start over or not

I don't think you will have to start over, but you WILL hae to buy a powerhead. That's the best way to get your salt fully mixed. I don't know what it looked like when mixed in the bucket, but the water should have been completely clear, and have sat with an air pump for a day or so.
Just because you didn't do this doesn't mean it's doomed to fail. It just means it's going to take longer to clear.
Is the water EXACTLY as cloudy as last night?
Pictures would be a great help too

Do you have the filter running if you do you can add a Filter Pads to it to catch the debris.

The basic idea is, the more circulation you have flowing in your tank, the quicker it will clear, IMOE

sorry no pics yet i will try and get some on today. im about to go out and jsut get a cheap-o powerhead right now to try and solve my problem. when i started to mix the salt it looked very white to me. and i thought as i added more water that it would dissolve pretty easily, however this is not the case at all. and yes its pretty much the same as it was last night. i have the right amount of salt its just not dissolved in the water fully! so a powerhead should greatly help? the only movement i have is the suction from my filter

Yes, it will greatly help. But you need a powerhead in your tank regardless, why go out and buy something cheap? The biggest lesson here is do it right the first time, or your going to be doing it again, and again.
Pictures would help greatly. Keep posting perams, and be patient. Consult here first before adding anything either.

for what you are going to spend at the LFS as 'cheap' you could probably get a koralia 4 off a reefer on the board.
Just a thought.. but I know you need it asap.

ok i just got my powerhead in and running..hopfully this will cure my problem
how long before i should being to notice a clearer tank
