Still Cloudy...

Okay... so I set up an old tank that has been sitting in storage since 1998. Now I have set it up after cleaning the tank (sitting it in the tub, and rinsing the combo sand and crushed coral) after which I added my rocks and display coral (FO tank before... but would like to move on to LR) 45 Gals of RO water, and mixed in Salt. I have not been able to locate my test kits, so I will have to bring a sample to the nearest marine store, but I would like to know if this is still a normal cycle. I have been running the old emporer bio wheels, but I was told that the old ones are still good. What should I bee concerned with? Or should I just not worry and bring some h2o into the store and go with what they say.
Cloudy for roughly a week.

mine was very cloudy at first. I then drained the tank and rinse the sand very good. Didnt do that at first, then i put in a small filter and it took about 2 days to clear up totally.

I agree with kipass. Carbon will clear it very fast.
