Still trying to figure out what this is

Ive had this guy for 2 months now. At first I thought it was a maze brain, then was told other wise. I was told it may be a merulina. And I thought this was true because, I have yet to see any tentacles on this coral, even when I feed it mysis. But if it was really an sps, Im pretty sure it would be dead by now under my lighting, I have T5s on a 20 gallon. Anyways can someone help, what do you think?
The first pic is from a couple weeks after I got it, and the second is from today.

hmm interesting. i am not sure what it is but if i had to guess i would say it is a favia.

Oh really? I dont think I would have ever guessed that. I will go look up favias.
