Tanks can be tricky. There are alot of things working against you. All I can say is mass with the camera settings, back lighting, and just practice. They aren't bad. Most of them are real good.

one real good thing to do when taking pics. clean the glass inside and out. im not saying the glass is dirty, im just saying its the little things that help.

How did you make out with the carbon and sand mix?

ummmm... still there.i tried to clean it but was near imposable to get them all.. think i am gong to drain the sump... vacume out all the sand and charcole and add new sand..
