Stingray died

A couple of days ago my cleaner wrasse was really picking at the body of my sting ray. Then the cleaner wrasse started picking at my maroon clown until he had sores on him. Today the sting ray died. Here is a picture. How long has anyone had a stingray in there tank. The sting ray was 4-5 inches wide when he was laying flat. I would feed him mysis shrimp and pieces of shrimp and fish every other day. I had the sting ray about 4 months and the wrasse for about 2 months.

Is this picture before or after he died? How long did you have him? What else is in the tank? What are your water readings? What kind of substrate do you have?

I have a snowflake eel, maroon clown and LT anen, toby puffer, cleaner wrasser. I have had him about 4 months. I have just sand, he was doing great until I noticed the wrasser bitting him all of time, it started on monday and the wrasser picked at him a lot on tuesday and wednesday, i tried to catch the wrasse but couldn't until thurs morn. He quit eating on monday eve and died thurs afternoon. The wrasser also bit sores on the clown and tried on the puffer. I took my water to LFS they said it was fine. The other fish and LT anen is fine.

It looks as though the bites became infected. If this wrasse is harassing other fish, to the point that it is effecting their behavior and health, then you should really take him back to the LFS.

The wrasse did not go crazy... It did exactly what wrasses do, it nipped. The puffer would probably, eventually do the same thing. The ray is extremely vulnerable.

That is what I thought, I put melafix in the tank but I figured it was to late by the time I noticed how bad it was.
Melafix is not strong enough for this.

Just an FYI, the puffer, wrasse and anemone are all unsuitable with rays.
I 100% agree here. I didn't mention it because you have enough going on, and the ray is already dead. Crimzy is very correct though.

Is it possible that the cleaner wrasse is really not a cleaner wrasse but a mimic? It closely resembles the true cleaner, although the position of its mouth is different (it is terminal in the true version). It takes advantage of this resemblance by tricking fish into getting cleaned and then tearing off pieces of their skin, or even their branchiae.
I would isolate the "cleaner wrasse" and remove it permanently.
