Stingray with a Trigger?

can i keep a blue spot stingray with a clown trigger...i have a 45 gallon thank that i am setting up for saltwater fish only...i have kept saltwater in the past but never a stingray...i will be upgrading to a bigger tank in about ayear...also if they are compatible can i use crushed coral or should i use sand (dead or alive?)...thanks

I am not a big expert but I have asked same question to my LFS and he suggested to not house with triggers. Triggers may tend to start picking at it. Again it depends on the triggers. Some may or may not. Also should house in a bigger tank with as much clear space on the bottom.
