I want 2 start a 20L and was looking for an interesting stock list... I dont want to do the normal percula and damsels, I talked to my LFS and they told me I could do small lion but I dont know what else I could put with it... like i said i wanna do sumthign "exotic" haha any input would be great!
PS
I plan on using 20 lbs or LR and 20 lbs of base, about 3 inchs LS and im going to build a canopy to house my lighting but need help deciding what I should use.. i was going to retro fit Compact Fluorescents or maybe a MH but idk how strong they both should be... what is the difference between the 2 i mentioned and t5 HO lights?
thanks,
Extreme Nubie

i dont think u could even do a dwarf lion in there and i cant think of anything really exotic in a 20L bcus u cant do seahorses bcus its to short i think and lions puffers eels there all to big for that tank i would say go with corals and stuff

FLBoyinO-H-I-O,
I'm a 6 yr. resident of Columbus until 1985... So I guess I'm a OhioBoyinFloida

Back in those Ohio days, I kept a 2-3" 'Antenneta Lionfish, HumuHumu Trigger (both live food guys!), Mandarin goby, pearly jawfish, and Banded Coral Shrimp in a 20G. Keep in mind, that back in the late 70's- early 80's, marine aquaria used under gravel filters with crushed oyster shell/dolomite strata, outside filters and bleached coral decor! The tank worked well for 18 months as long as I made 25% water changes with Instant Ocean! With today's state-of-the-art systems... a living rock display with nudibranch's, cowery's, shrimps, crabs, feather duster worms, anenomes, and flame clams would be striking! Add your very small Lion and a bottom fish like a goby or jawfish. Hope this gives you some ideas....
