Hi. Im setting up a 29gallon fish-only tank, about 10-15lbs. of live, 20lbs. of live sand, 2 power filters for up to 40gallons,100w heater, and 1 powerhead.
Is this all the equipment i have to have? IM getting a protien skimmer soon after i set the tank up. What else do i absolutly need for this aquarium.
this is what i wanna put in the tank(this is for about a year) mi brother is moving out in about a year and he said i can have his 55gallon tank.
will this be ok for about a year?
2 clowns(baby)
1 niger trigger(baby)
1 blue tang(baby)
1 yellow tang(baby)
1 bicolor angel(baby)
and someone suggest a colorful butterfly or angel to add also.

depends on what type of clowns if percs they will be fine there whole life none of the tangs will work they will grow really fast and in a year they will be too big for the 55 gal. the trigger will not work either. the angel might work if really really small but i doubt it sorry for bursting your bubble. why dont you get a good amount of small fish like gobies and blennies. when you do get the 55 gal you could do a fuzzy dwarf lionfish like the one in my avatar if you wanna go aggressive and they will be fine there whole life in the 55.

hhheeeeellllllooooooo!!!!! someone plzz help me. i need to kno the longest i can keep them in there. plzz reply

Yellow tangs, you really need at least a 75 Gallon, however most will tell you at least 125. A Zebra or Fuzzy dwarf would world work in 30g. Also, Tigger would kill everything in that stock list sooner or later, more like sooner. At this point I would say the only thing that you could do keep the clown fish, providing they are either False or True Percs. You could do some REEF Safe Wrasses (most only get up to 3") possible a Solar Fairy Wrasse which gets up to 4"-5" but will cost ya about 30-70 bucks depending on the place you buy it at.
