I personally would go with list one, but I would drop the Idol, doesn't have a good success rate in the home aquarium. List one is my personal preferance.

list two agressive fish are really cool but the clown trigger might nip at the lions fins

Neither list. I have problems with both lists.
List one tries to put a moorish idol and a mandarin dragonet into the tank. Moorish idols REALLY should be left in the ocean. You are never going to keep one alive in a 150. Same for the mandarin. That tank is way too populated to try and keep a mandarin. It will starve to death because all of the other fish will get to the pods way before the mandarin will. They need to be in a MUCH LESS populated tank.
List two tries to put one of the most aggressive types of triggers in with a lionfish. You are just asking for a battle usually. 1 time out 10 it will work, but why waster your money and the fish's life the other 9?
Both lists need revision. Are you trying to do a reef tank? Neither list contains all reef safe fish.

Yellow tangs should always be grouped in odd number so either get 1 or 3 it prevents them from fighting. Are Mandarin Dragons really that hard to keep in a populated tank?
