Stocking a 100 gallon

100 Gallon Tank
Wet Dry Filter
Protien Skimmer
3 power heads
100 lbs LR
120 lbs LS
currently stocked with:
18" Snow Flake Eel
3" Maroon Clown
4" Harliquen Tusk
5" Dog faced puffer
I'd like to add two more fish. The last one being a trigger (niger or clown).
The next one being a grouper? or other meat eater. I don't really want to go the route of a fish requiring vegi/green food. Easier for me to just feed the meaty stuff. Also, the tangs and angels, I find, are very prone to ick. I don't want ick again so I want to stay with fish that don't tend to get it. any suggestions on the next fish to add?

None, unfortunately. You're fully stocked as it is and the Puffer will outgrow your tank. The other fish that you have chosen, as "next fish" are not suitable for your tank.
Stick with what you got.

I agree with AW.
In particular, forget about the clown trigger. A fish that requires a tank in the 220 gallon range at a minimum, IMO.

Your kidding. An eel with three fish and I'm done? The three fish I have in there wouldn't bother anyone. Secondly, the puffer won't out grow the tank. If I had it in the ocean for the next 5 years and then put it in the tank - yes. But it won't grow like that in a tank. Seems like I could have 4 or 5 fish with the eel.
By the way Mantias Grouper, from my experience, is horribly aggressive. Was it just the one that I had or are they known for that? Besides, I believe the Mantias grouper is know to prey on clown fish?

Pleae do not think that just because those fish are in a tank, instead of the ocean, they wont grow to their max size. Unfortunately, that's a very, very rediculous myth.
The Tusk, you're looking at 10"+...the Puffer, you're looking at 12"+...the Snowflake, anywhere from 24" - 36"+. Personally, I think the current tank is too small for the Tusk and Puffer (I've had plenty of experiances with both species)...but, that's just my opinion.
You're not accounting for adult sized fish, which these will grow into, if given a chance and a proper home.
Sure, as all juveniles, you could put 10 fish into that tank, but what are you gonna do when they start growing and killing each other off, over territory...which is exactly what's gonna happen if you start adding other semi-aggressive/aggressive fish.

The puffer would. Puffers are notorious fin-nippers, so that potentially eliminates any fish that are slow-moving or have long-flowing fins. Like Lionfish.
Secondly, the puffer won't out grow the tank. If I had it in the ocean for the next 5 years and then put it in the tank - yes. But it won't grow like that in a tank.
As AW said that is not always the case. Even if it was, intentional growth-stunting isn't healthy for fish.
100 gallon tanks are normally either 48"x24" or 60"x18." While this may seem big, it really isn't sufficient for keeping large quantities of large, aggressive fish, each needing their own space and territories. IMO you could have one of those fish (though IMO not the puffer) as your centerpiece and build around it with smaller, less aggressive species. However, this might be tricky given your dislike of tangs and small angels; still, plenty of options remain.
