stocking a 20gal high

Well I posted about a week ago on the newbie page that my fish were dying and today my last damsel a yellow tail "Joe" died. So once I get my tank back in order along with my sanity any ideas on what to put in it? I plan on getting some damsels for it soon to make sure the tank is up to snuff but after that any ideas?

reef, but I only have live rock and some mushrooms going to keep the corals easy to care for until i upgrade down the road.

i have a 20 long with one ocellaris. i plan on putting 1 more and maybe a royal gramma.

if it has alot of LR shelves because it is a tall tank i would add a little school of clown gobies, lets say 5, (green yellow or maybe even catalina) they would we really cool because they would all sit on neighboring shelves on different levels and just kind of hang out!
