stocking a 220 gallon X-High

im thinking of getting this 220 gallon X-High at my lfs. the dimensions are 72x24x35 1/2. It's a nice looking tank. what type of fish could i think about getting for it. maybe a dogface puffer? i was thinking of getting an epaulette shark but i don't think so any more. as soon as i got to big there would be nowhere to put it. what else could i put in there?

I would put aggressive fish in it. I wouldn't recommand you putting a shark tho.

i'm a huge lionfish fan. You could put 3 or 4 big volitans in a 220, but it might be kind of boring for some. Ever consider a big reef tank?

I wouldnt think you would like 4 v-lions in your tank .. It's a beautiful fish, but i don't think you want 4 of them in your tank. Have some other agressive. You can have 1 v-lion and some other agressive like a puffer.

I wouldn't mix a lion and a puffer, puffers have a tendency to nip the lion to death. You can chance it and be fine, why risk such an amazing fish or any fish.

thats kinda opposite in my tank. my lions bothers my puffer. lol. but i have kept puffers and lions together in the past with no problems. but it always a caution. good to keep a eye on them and if anything starts happening then you may needt o get rid of one.

what kind of puffers and lions have you mixed? I wanted to mix a volitan and a dog face and my research discouraged me.

i was thinking about making it an awesome reef. but i want to go with some aggressive fish first. i, for some reason, don't really get anything from the lionfish. i don't know what it is but it just doesn't do anything for me. i want a dog face puffer and whatever else i could put in there.
