Hi,
I am curently building a 470 gallon aquarium.I am finding some ideas of fish for it.
1 snowflake eel
1 red flag grouper
1 volitan lionfish
1 blue dot stingray
1 bamboo shark
1 powder blue tang
1 dragon wrasse

I would say no sting ray or shark. If you plan on having live rock these fish I have heard can be very destructive and will grow large.

You can have LR with sharks.. Just make sure you get large pieces... I have 200 lbs of LR with my 2 leopards with no problems.....

How big is the tank(dimensions)? This only thing I'd watch out for with that livestock is the lion and ray. If the ray were to land on top of it it would be X_x
Also like splash said, you can have lr with sharks and rays no problem.

If you want sharks, why not just make it a shark tank? Someone correct me if I am wrong (never kept sharks) but 3 bamboos/epaulettes should be ok in there. 30" wide sounds a little narrow for a ray, IMO. If you want sharks and rays just make sure the lr is steady/secured and you have a live sand bed. CC will scratch them up and lead to infection. Bo

Thats what I'd do with a tank like that. You could easily keep 3 adult bamboos in that tank and depending on your filtration maybe even a ray(30" width is the minimum IMO) and since the tanks so tall maybe 1 or 2 tangs or something. You'll need killer filtration though. Thats one of my dream tanks.
