Stocking new tank

I just picked up a 100g acrylic. It's sitting in the garage. I have to build a stand for it and fix the hood. This gives me time to ponder what to do with it. i have a 55g FILR that is very stable. I don't know if I want to produce another one of these tanks or maybe do a FO with a couple of marquee specimens. I've always wanted a Lion but a 100g may still be too small. A full blown reefs are a bit out of my league and I don't really want to dump $600-700 for lighting.
How would you stock this tank? Would there be enough room for a Lion? If so would there be room for anything else? Maybe an alternatives for a Lion that would live in an FO?
Suggestions very appreciated.

I'm not an expert but I think a 100g tank is perfect for a lion. I have a 90g and I am looking for a lion fish right now. My tank is a fish only tank with a niger trigger, black sebea clown a few damsils, and some brakish fish that a friend of a friend was going to flush. I couldn't let him flush them so I aclimated them over to my salt tank. I also plan on adding a spiny puffer. I have also considered getting a grouper or a snapper. I know they get pretty big so I have held off but some of the smaller ones I have seen were pretty tempting.

for lions you really need a tank bigger than a 100 gallon for them to be happy. you could keep a small lion in a smaller tank. but remember as that fish grows it will need a bigger tank.

if you want to make a marquee looking tank i would get a few large pieces of live rock with some nice coral on top of them and get a hawaiin dragon moray if i had the room i certainly would

I would go for that Moray Eel idea ......but the dragon is REALLY expensive.....also I would suggest some type of school tank...that would be really sweet!

in 100 gallon tank i would do the following:
dwarf lion
snowflake eel (dragons are very expensive but very cool)
bluejaw trigger (male)
definatly go with some live rock (i would use about 80lbs) as it provides great caves and hiding places (especially for the eel)...
this is a understocked tank so you could add some other aggessive fish too...
