Dragon Wrasse
Harlequin Tusk
Sea Goblin
Volitan Lion
Maroon Clown
Snow flake
Look Down
Is it possible for these species to all get along? I am particullarly concerned by the Dragon going after the sea goblin and eel. Do you think it will it nip the Thread fin?
What type of filteration would you recommend for this messy set-up?
Thanks.

No way if the tank you'tr planning to keep them is really 46...I heard Look Downs are schooling fishes (They get big ,too!), and their tankmates should be non-rambuctious /slow-swimming. Also, the lionfish and clownfish combo does not work unless you intend to keep your maroon as a feeder.

I should have clarified. My 46 is a reef set-up that the clown currently resides in, it is close to 4" now. The others would be new additions. The new set-up will be a 150 or so, FOWLR.
I say 'or so' because I am currently working on plans to mount it in the wall, just getting excited and looking forward to it.
Lookdowns are cool, but my fiance is the one who really wants them. I figured the lookdown would be tormented. So, assuming this set-up would they be okay, minus the lookdown? I was planning on adding them all at the same time as Juvies so Clown should do fine. I was more worried about the Dragon Wrasse and the Tusk getting along.

If you put that tank in the wall then you wont get much light in there and you would be spending $800.00 for a more brighter light. If its just agaist the wall then you can go with a reef tank and get a $600.00 light. Ive learned that with my 125. You need it to have as much sun and room light as possible so you dont have to spend as much on a light.

if it's an aggressive you don't need much.. PC would be fine to go the width of the tank, you don't need to support anything really with it except some coraline. you could also get VHO

Lion, FOWLR means FISH ONLY WITH LIVE ROCK. That means he is NOT DOING A REEF. stop saying dumb stuff, please. Now, I would not do lookdowns, just cuz they arent that great. Wat is a sea goblin??? The harlequin tusk will be allright, but im not sure about the dragon wrasse. They can be some pretty nasty fish. Maybe a tang instead, like a yellow or a purple? The snowflake will be fine, just make a nice place for it to hide in. Volitan is a definite:yes: . The clown has the potential to ge eaten, but put it in at yer own risk. It would be better off in the reef though. Filtration would be a big wet dry with maybe two overflows on either side, built in would be best. A LARGE protein skimmer (search the web, there are some nice ones out there) maybe a uv sterilizer (if you would like) bioballs, yaddayaddayadda. No need for some serious lighting, maybe a compact flouescent. To control water levels, you might consider setting up a refugium with lots of caulerpa and macro algae. That will help with like nitrates and ammonia/ algae. If you could find yerself a BIG lmb at the lfs, that would help out greatly as well. Might I suggest a ray instead of the lookdown and dragon wrasse?

a sea goblin is some weird looking fish that hangs out on the bottom and eats anything it can put into its mouth kind of like a lion but on the bottom oh yeah chandlers idea sounds good with the filtration and lighting
