Stocking refugium

I'm about to start up my refugium. What are some good algaes or plants to put in it? Can I get these from cuttings off of established algaes and plants?

A: Most of the the Caulerpa Macro Algaes are a good choice for a refugium. Many to choose from.
Q: "Can I get these from cuttings off of established algaes and plants?"
A: I think that's pretty much the only way to do it. I've never seen Macro Algae seeds for sale.
