I fell in love with this fish at the pet store yesterday that was in a tank with 2 anglers. the label on the tank said stone fish but it doesn't look like the ones in the pics. it looked more like a big clod of mud than a stone. it was light brown/orangish color & was walking around on the bottom, opening its mouth. it was very ugly & very cool. my 2-year-old kept calling it a "scary monster" & it did look more like a monster than a fish. anyway, i can't quit thinking about it but i don't want a stonefish b/c they get so big & can kill you. is there a scorpion or something that would be similar but smaller & easier to keep with some other fish?
