With all the issues we have with our tanks I just want to say to all nubies PLEASE remember to take the time and stop and enjoy your tanks with out the pressure of finding and correcting problems. Just take a moment and ENJOY

Excellent post, and a great suggestion even for the NON-newbies! I think I'll just go gaze and enjoy and NOT put my hands (or equipment) in the water at all!

Dont worry you have alot more stressing to do. But in the beginning is the fun part. Doing the aquascaping and setting up the tank.

That is my favorite part too

I am not new and don't stress over my tank so I guess my take on it isn't really fair.

Really? I watch my clowns wake up some days, and its not pretty. They just look shocked, and spas for a few minutes.
If you want to spend more time watching your tank, make a desktop nano. Best move I made, putting a 12g three feet from my computer.

I watch my tank instead of my tv; even though there's nothing in it yet. LOL It's just relaxing. I think I was a mermaid in my other life.. LOL

I just tried too... I pulled up the bench from the kitchen table and started looking. It was painful. I caved, 3 minutes later my hand was in the darn thing moving stuff.

Wel I tried to post a pic of the tank but I guess I need some batteries for it so its off to bed. Got to be to work before sunrise. But this is a good post Joe. Everyone should go and look at there tank. Not at what you can do better. Not at the little bit of hair alge you have. But look at the tank as a whole. See what you created and how good it looks. Thats what this hobby is all about. Good night to all and to you to Joe
