store bought coral to live rock

i posted on here a while ago and someone said that in 4-5 months the store bought hard coral becomes live rock and if thats true will the pods also eventually develop on it?

Yes you should get pods off your coral/LR. Usually pods will grow really well if you have LR and LS, but even if you have rock you will still get some eventually.
