Store RO/DI Water

How long can you store this water in jugs before it goes bad? Can you store mixed with salts? When I go on vacation I will need someone to care for my tank so I wanted to know this so they have water to do top offs.

A very long time IMO. You should be fine.

I have a 55g barrell of RODI and I make 5-10g of saltwater in another barrell. That way there I have both RODI water for topoffs and Saltwater mix for quick water changes. I was concerned about the water sitting around and going bad but I keep a powerhead in each bucket to circulate the water and I have never had any problems.

Lots of people do it, but there is no evidence to support that it is necessary to keep a powerhead running on mixed saltwater. That is why I don't.
