I think it is amazing how quickly a storm can move in.

This is just 5 minutes later when I went to the store:

Yup! It was complete with hail. It knocked a few trees down by me.

Hail is a regular occurrence here. I've lived in SoCal, Phoenix, Northern Idaho and Western Montana and I think I saw more hail here in 6 months than all my life living in those other places.

That was crazy here on LI on Thursday night. I had the same thing happened. Went into a grocery store with just cloudy skies and came out 5 minutes later to a black sky, torrential rain, lighting and thunder. I got drenched just walking 50 feet to my car.

I just got my estimates from the Farm Bureau from the storm I had a few weeks ago. At least, I will get a new roof and only have to pay my $500 deductible. I think I will just pocket the rest of the money.
