Strange Algae spreading

For the last month I have been watching this strange type of Algae grow in my DT. It is kind of a webbing made up on these tiny disks and it spreads over everything, Stonies, SPS, Leathers, even glass. It seems to "float" over the LR and only attaches by a small piece. Little did I know they were FLATWORMS!!!!

just an update... I siphoned as much of these things out as possible with an airline hose ( which was very effective by the way) and added FLATWORM EXIT. Within 5 minutes I had a tank full of floating worms. Again netting as many as possible for 90 minutes and then letting nature take its course. I added a bag full of carbon and results show no more flatworks and no spike in toxins with no noticable change in health of corals/inverts/fish. THANK GOD!!!!

wow, sounds like a good product, glad to hear you got your problem resolved. I (knock on wood) have never had a problem with flat worms, but i have seen them over take tanks in the past

Wow, that's a LOT of flatworms! The story was rather amusing as well.

Hope you get them all.
