As Im surfing thru the web on my laptop,in front of my tank, I noticed that for the last 10 min my yellow tang is swimming back and forth like doing laps or catch me if u can. Does this sound normal???

Yes that is pretty normal behavior for a tang - they are very active swimmers
they also are known to chase their own reflections around

When I sit on my couch my sailfin just looks at me as if to say "feed me you moron!" especially when I'm being lazy and haven't feed that evening yet.
