strange behavoir with a pecula clown

he loves to hang out at my skimmer in the corner and when any other clowns come back he chases them off and goes directly back to his little hiding area. But it seems as though he stays there all the time!!
is something wrong with him? my 2 other clowns always like the chill in the middle of the tank

my two gsm hang out above my powerhead in the corner all the time. about a 2x2 inch area.

i think he has kinda staked out his territory and is protecting it, similar to hosting a anemone or other corals. also i think that a tank with more than 2 clownfish the odd man that is out gets severely picked on.
