Strange brand of MH bulds???

Hello! i have recently purchased two new MH bulds off e--y for my 125 reef. and in the description of the bulbs it said they would be great for a reef aquarium. but now they are here and work fine(they create light) but they dont seem to be as bright as my previous bulbs. and the light they make is more blue. my previous ones make mor white and green light. they are both 250 watts and are brand new. the brand is Artemis. has any one ever heard of this brand and had success with them?any information would be great. thanks

Never heard of the brand...but 250w comes in different bulbs..10K has a yellowish light, while 14K..20K are bluer hues.

Yes, they are just really blue. The more yellow...10K the more growth, both will be good for your coral and your coral will grow, just a bit slower. Most people prefer the bluer hues..it looks nicer and not so stark. I use 14K
