i was just wonder if this is normal because i have never had this happen before.

i recently got a false perc clown, who is really healthy and everything, but seems to act very strangly. he never seems to want to swim around when im in the room. he has made his home at the bottom of the tank in a little crevice between the LR and LS. he has now dug out a hole in the LS, much like a goby would do. he did not act like this the first few weeks i had him, which has me baffled.

He's probably made himself at home with ease now by making his own little area. :happyfish

Wow we must be sharing a tank. I had mine for about 2 months now. He/She just started that the other day.

You know what ive noticed a dug out spot in my tank also. Its right where my clowns go after lights are out. Ive never seen them dig though.

so this is really nothing i should worry about, as long as he is eating? i just think that is wierd to catch him swimming around the tank when im gone, but the minute i get close to the tank he darts into his home.
