Strange...

Yesterday as I was watching the live rock in my tank I seen what I can best describe as a grey slug/worm, probably a type of bristle worm, but the strange thing was it popped out of a hole, stretched half of its body, wiggled it around and shot out what looked like a burst of micro bubbles, or more likeley, its waste. Just weird, anyone else ever seen that?

Is it bristly looking or segmented or have any other colors on it?? What about size??? IVe seen bristles anywhere from less than and inch to 8in. Britsles are usually pretty colorful.

I have at least 5 grey worms with pale brown spots that have bristles at the end and drag the bristles across the rocks they live in. They usually come out at night, especially since adding fish. They seem harmless and my lfs has no idea.

It was roughly an inch long, and it looked segmented but it could have been little bristles along its side that made it look segmented too. I didn't see it for that long. And I'm pretty sure it was a solid grey.

if its like gray and orange with bristle I think its a bristle worm, once you point the flash light to them they go in the rock, fast little suckers.. :D :D :D
