Struck out on Southdown

Here in the Piedmont of North Carolina I can't get Southdown sand. I went to my local Home Depot to see if they can order it for me. They said that they never heard of it even when I told them that other stores in the country do carry it. I talked to someone both in building materials and lawn & garden. If anyone comes across it in North Carolina please let me know. I live in the Greensboro area but travel a lot in the eastern NC and in central Virginia. All the stores in this area carry Quickcrete or Bonsal.

If you want live sand there is a pet shop in Mooresville, NC just north of Charlotte called the Sea shell pet shop. They carry LS and are very educated. Ask for Ruth

Thanks for the information. I travel to Charlotte from time-to-time and I will try to go by this store.
