stuff in tank

hey guys, i've had my tank up and running for a while now. but recently have had this problem. there's a LOT of debris type stuff floating in the tank. i have a protein skimmer in there and that didn't help out at all. all parameters are perfect and have done a water change recently (yesterday recently) but nothing seems to be helping. is there to much flow in the tank? i have the stock flows and a koralia nano. but i started noticing the stuff before i put in the nano. any help would be great! thanks guys!

it is not open, it's a 24g nano. closed top... i always whipe my hands over the tank after i take them out though so i don't drip water all over the place. i use paper towels...but i don't think it would cause this much.. i'll try and post some pics in a bit

here are the pics, hope this helps because it's driving me crazy.. it's not hurting any of the fish or the corals though... i do have a pistol shrimp.. he moves sand a lot could that be it? tryin to find all solutions here lol

there's no room! i have two chambers, one has bio balls and filter.. the other has the pump.. the skimmer is to big to fit back there and the roof of the nano comes down to far to put the collection cup on there.. the only place, short of getting new lights/hood is actually in the tank... looks terrible =(
