I am building a taller stand so the reef is eye leval and I will also build a hood which I will install 2 250w MH with 6500k bulbs until they burn out, then I will get 10000k. the lights will be about 12" off of the water with 2 ice cap 4" fans.
I guess my main question goes on below the tank. I have a 25 tall and a regular 10 I plan on using the 10 as a refugium and the 25 as my main sump. I will drill the 25 and have a bulkhead where watter natrualy flows into the refugium. Then, on the other side of the refugium I will silicone a piece of glass so no sand gets in that little section. in there I will have a small pump (cap 800) return the water to the main sump.
I figure where the water comes in from the refugium, and where the water comes down from the overflow I could install a small like 1' ATS I know nothing about them though so it would help if someone could link me to a good website. then the water would flow back into the main sump and get skimmed (Tunze 100 gal) and heated. then it would somehow go to an external pump (I was thinking like a "quiet one") then get pumped back into the main tank through a seaswirl.
I have 70lbs of live rock and I will have a 5" live sand bed.
does this sound Ok or am I just drunk and I don't know it??

A 70 gallon with 70lbs of rock will not have any room left over for halph the stuff you have listed. After reading the list I was sure you were talking about a 125.
