stupid anemone

my bubble tip anemone has migrated to the underside of a rock, in a deep cave where no light is reaching him. the clownfish was "overstimulating" him according to the lfs but now i cant feed him because the shrimp steal the food, and he isnt getting any light down there. what should i do? the good news is he isnt constantly closed up anymore, the bad news is hes gonna die...hes been this way for probably a week. i like him, and so does the clownfish. help, please!

All I can say is that your anemone is obviously not happy with something in the tank. They can be called alot of things,but stupid is not one of them. They will usually go where they are most comfortable,but if this is under a rock with no light,I'd say you have a problem.He will most likly come out when he is ready.But if he was closed up all the time before,Things don't look good...

yeah, lol thanks mr. salty. the reason he was closed up before is because its a rather small anemone, and the clownfish kept litterally ramming itself into the anemone, backing up, and doing it again. and again. so the aneomone will come out when its ready? i sure hope so...it looks fine under there, its out and its tenticles are waving around, except it isnt getting any light.
