Stupid Batteries

I was browsing my tank today, and I saw a creature crawling on my live rock that I've never seen before! So I rush for my camera to take some pictures for an ID, and the batteries are dead!

By the time I find some spare batteries and get back to the tank, it's gone. :scared:

get a red filter for a flashlight and look a couple of hours after lights out. you will see many many things in there.

I dont wanna sound dumb, but what is a red filter???

anything red even red saran wrap or red plastic the critters cant see the red spectrum very well so it dont spook them.
