Stupid question-

I have a red plating Monti that has been in my tank for about 2 weeks and looks great. This morning I found it in the sand. One of my snails or shrimp must have knocked it off the rock it was resting on. My questions is when should I glue in a permanent location. I don't want to glue it only to find out it does not like the flow or the lighting in that location.
Thanks

You could just glue it to some rubble rock, just enough to weight it down a little, yet you could still pick the whole thing up and move it later.

Monti's are very forgiving. I would tend to place it in a lower flow area with medium lighting. They tend to adjust to the system, eapecially when they are smaller frags.

This is usually what I do.
