stupid snails

every time i put some sort of bivalve into my tank my nassarus snails kept eating them and same with all the limpets i put into the tank i thought ther supposed to be cleanups not killers?

They eat dead and dying. Whatever they ate was because it was on the way out. They smell it before you even know the critter is sick.

ya but if it is sick or watever it still might recover

They are carrion eaters. They are eating any rotting/dead flesh. They are not out to kill your clam.
