90 gallon wave front with 50% sugar type non live sand and 50% Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Reef Sand. Question is i have some custom artificial reefs and i clean them bi-weekly well the sand is looking a little dirty. the sand is so fine and will cloud the tank if even shuffled around a little bit, how can i make it clean? Im just not wanting to cloud my tank for 24+ hrs with my fish in there (volitan lion & huma huma trigger) I am just curious if there is a way to do this or should i just leave it? Any info would be grand thanks in advance

Although it's a pain in the butt, it's pretty important to clean the dead sand thoroughly before putting it in the tank. You generally want to get the dust off prior to adding to the display.
I think all you can really do at this point is disturb only the top layer of the sand while cleaning. Over time the dust will be removed or settle on the bottom.
