In a new tank,what's the best way to introduce live sand? 55g,overflow,refugium.Pumps on or off?Tank and refugium are full of new salt water.Thanks.

Pumps off so they won't suck up sand and ruin the impeller. If you don't want it to cloud as much, you can put the sand into ziplock bags and then open it or cut it near the bottom.
