hey everyone
to start off, i'm off at college and my mom is watching the tank, so any informantion after this paragraph is coming from her. on saturday i noticed that bob (a clarkii clown) had started to attack tuffy (another clarkii clown). we were outta town the night before, so they didn't get fed, but usually they don't get that aggressive that quick. on the information from here it says that clarkii clowns are peaceful, which has been true, with a few chases, but nothing bad. there's also a maroon clown (they all live peacefully, so please don't start on that "the two clarkiis will kill the maroon" thing again), yt, blue-green chromis, 6 line wrasse.. think that's it. besides corals & inverts.
bob has also become VERY fond of our anenome, which makes be wonder if he thinks tuffy is trying to get the anenome? tuffy has been hiding in the back of our tank, but bob still goes after him, so i'm not sure that's it.
my dad is all bout "survival of the fittest", so i'm not sure if they gonna try & catch one to give to the fs we use or what. i was hoping that someone could just explain why bob would suddenly attack what seemed to be a good friend?
(i posted this early in the general fish area, then remembered that there was a placed about clowns, where i shoulda first posed, sorry. anyway, someone said that one of em might be turing into a female, & and i wondering if that would be bob, since he is the bigger one? & why would turning female suddenly make em so aggressive?)
